The logisitcs made this job interesting! The substation was surrounded by a 25' wall and was located in a busy area of the city. Transformer Technologies arranged for the oil removal, crane service, and transportation to have minimal impact on the City. The lifts went smoothly and closure of a portion of the street was held to a short timeframe. |
 Eugene Water and Electric Board - Willamette SubstationEWEB required the complete teardown of an obsolete substation. Transformer Technologies provided a detailed Scope of Work to remove 35,000 gallons of oil, three large transformers, six large OCB’s, all PT’s, CT’s, capacitor banks, lattice towers, and structures. TCI of Alabama was utilized to process three PCB Contaminated OCB’s. This fixed price job was completed on time, with minimal customer assistance, and with complete regulatory compliance. |
