Evergreen Aluminum
Vancouver, WAEvergreen Aluminum decommissioned and razed an Aluminum Smelter. Evergreen contracted with Transformer Technologies to remove all dielectric fluid and electrical equipment. Over seventy-five transformers, ranging in size from 8,000 pounds to 80,000 pounds, twenty OCB’s, five capacitor banks, three oil tanks, bus bar, cable, wire, control cabinets, and conduit were dismantled and recycled. Transformer Technologies arranged all loading and transportation while mobilizing / demobilizing multiple times to accommodate the demolition schedule. In addition, Transformer Technologies arranged for TCI of Alabama to recycle one PCB Contaminated transformer and numerous PCB Capacitors and potential transformers. |
